How to say “Sa'id” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدِ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ
It was narrated from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said:
سَعِيدِ — Sa'id. The second element of the 'father of Sa'id' name-pairing, so it sits in the genitive as the owned-by term completing the teknonym. The two pieces set together give the full nickname with no separate 'of'. Its genitive is forced by its place in the chain.
