وَعَلَّقَ الْفَلَّاحُ بِالصَّبْرِ وَالتَّقْوَى فَعَقَلَ ذَلِكَ عَنْهُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
The successful person ascribed it to patience and piety, and the believers understood that from him.
الْفَلَّاحُ — the successful person. A definite noun naming the successful person, standing as the doer of 'ascribed' and so in the nominative. The al- and doer-case mark it as the subject that follows its verb.
