And persistent supplication to your Lord with every remembered or unremembered prayer,
الإِلْحَاحِ — the insistence. The al- marks this definite, 'the persistent pleading', and it sits in the possessed, 'of'-type ending because 'abundance' before it owns it: 'much persistent pleading'. The owned half takes this ending to complete what is to be increased.
