الْمُسْلِمِينَ — the Muslims. The definite plural 'the Muslims', held in the genitive by the 'toward' before it, shown by the '-ina' ending that marks a sound masculine plural in this case. The article fuses its sound into the noun, but its job is simply to make the group definite.
