وَإِفْتِقَارَهُمْ إِلَيْهِ وَيَسْتَعِينُونَ بِهَا عَلَى أَهْوِيَتِهِمْ وَأَذْوَاقِهِمْ
And their neediness toward Him, and they seek help through it for their desires and tastes.
أَهْوِيَتِهِمْ — their desires. A plural noun 'desires' with a 'their' pronoun fused on, in the after-preposition ending set by the preceding particle. The attached pronoun marks whose desires. It is the target the seeking-help is directed at.
