Arabic vocabulary
How to say “they seek help” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَإِفْتِقَارَهُمْ إِلَيْهِ وَيَسْتَعِينُونَ بِهَا عَلَى أَهْوِيَتِهِمْ وَأَذْوَاقِهِمْ
And their neediness toward Him, and they seek help through it for their desires and tastes.
وَيَسْتَعِينُونَ — and they seek help. A wa- 'and' fused to a present-tense verb shaped for a 'they' subject; the verb is in the 'seek X for oneself' derived pattern, here 'they seek help'. The wa- joins this clause on, and the plural 'they' lives in the verb's ending. It states a further action of the group.
