How to say “their tastes” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَإِفْتِقَارَهُمْ إِلَيْهِ وَيَسْتَعِينُونَ بِهَا عَلَى أَهْوِيَتِهِمْ وَأَذْوَاقِهِمْ
And their neediness toward Him, and they seek help through it for their desires and tastes.
وَأَذْوَاقِهِمْ — and their tastes. A wa- 'and' fused to a plural noun carrying a 'their' pronoun, coordinating 'their tastes' with 'their desires' before it. It shares the same after-preposition ending as its partner. The attached pronoun again marks whose tastes are meant.
