He said, "Indeed, those who give abundantly will be the few on the Day of Resurrection."
الْمُكْثِرِينَ — those who give abundantly. A participle naming a group, 'those who pile up much', held in a set object form because the emphasis particle before it governs it. It is the topic the sentence is about, the people whose fate the saying will surprisingly reverse.
