How to say “timed” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ويصحّ للتطوعات غير المؤقّتة في سائر الأوقات غير أوقات الكراهة
It is valid for non-timed voluntary prayers at all times except the disliked times.
الْمُؤَقَّتَةِ — timed. A passive participle, 'made-timed / having a set time,' feminine and in the -i form. Under 'non-,' the phrase means voluntary prayers that are NOT tied to a fixed hour — the kind for which tayammum stays valid at large.
