How to say “We made” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَ تَعَالَىٰ وَبِقَوْلِهِ إِهْتَدَى الْمُهْتَدُونَ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا
He, the Exalted, said: By His word the rightly guided were guided, and We made from among them leaders who guide by Our command because they were patient.
وَجَعَلْنَا — and We made. wa- coordinates a new clause, and the verb carries a built-in 'we' in its ending, so 'We made' needs no separate pronoun. The shift to 'We' signals the divine speaker resuming first-person address.
