Arabic vocabulary
How to say “with a harmful” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لَا سِيْمَةِ إِذَا أَضَافَ إِلَى جَحْدِ الْحَقِّ الْمُقَابَلَةِ بِسُوْءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ
Especially when, in addition to denying the corresponding right, he repays it with a harmful return.
بِسُوْءِ — with harm. The bi- here means 'with / by way of', marking the manner of the repaying, and it fuses with a noun, opening a 'with the bad of...' pairing. The preposition forces the genitive. So it sets up 'with a bad outcome', describing how the offender repays good.
