How to say “and accused” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَادَّعَى اِبْنُ عَبْدِ الْقَادِرِ عَلَى الشَّيْخِ أَنَّهُ تَصَرُّفٌ فِي وَقْفِ الْمَدْرَسَةِ،
And the son of the servant of the capable accused the sheikh of having dealt with the school's endowment.
وَادَّعَى — and he accused. This joins a linking 'and' to a derived-pattern past verb 'claimed / alleged against', whose built-up reflexive shape carries the 'lodge a claim' sense. It carries its own subject-slot for the name that follows, and the 'and' chains the action on.
