وَادَّعَى اِبْنُ عَبْدِ الْقَادِرِ عَلَى الشَّيْخِ أَنَّهُ تَصَرُّفٌ فِي وَقْفِ الْمَدْرَسَةِ،
And the son of the servant of the capable accused the sheikh of having dealt with the school's endowment.
الشَّيْخِ — the sheikh. A definite noun 'the sheikh', held in the genitive by the 'against' preposition as the accused. Its 'the' marks the specific scholar already in view.
