  The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: 'Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech.'

  وسلَّمَ — and blessings. This closes the blessing with the prefix wa- (and) on a verb asking for peace, completing the set formula. Like the rest of the phrase it is fixed wording recited after the Prophet's name.
