وَلَا يَزَالُونَ يَتَنَاوَبُونَ آيَاتًا مِنْ سُوَرٍ مُخْتَلِفَاتٍ إِلَى أَنْ يَتَكَامَلُوا قِرَاءَةً،
And they continue taking turns reciting verses from different chapters until their recitation is complete.
سُوَرٍ — chapters. A plural noun 'chapters', governed by the 'from' before it so it carries the genitive with the indefinite two-stroke ending. Being indefinite leaves the chapters unspecified, qualified by the adjective 'different' that follows. It names the scriptural sources tapped.
