Arabic vocabulary
How to say “created” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
كَمَا قَالَ تَعَالَى الذاريات وَمَا خلقت الْجِنّ وَالْإِنْس إِلَّا ليعبدون
As He, the Most High, said in Adh-Dhariyat, 'And I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to worship Me.'
خَلَقْتُ — I created. This is a past-tense verb with 'I' built into its ending, so one word says 'I created', the speaker being God. The first-person ending is what shifts the voice into God speaking directly rather than being reported about.
