How to say “disbeliever” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَقَوْلُهُمْ لَا تَلِدُ الْحَيَّةُ إِلَّا حَيَّةً، مَذْكُورٌ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى وَلَا يَلِدُوا إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا
And their saying: 'A snake gives birth only to a snake' is mentioned in His saying: 'And they will not give birth except to a disobedient, disbeliever.'
كَفَّارًا — disbeliever. This is 'an ingrate, disbeliever', indefinite, a second description of the begotten offspring, set beside the first. It takes the accusative to match, sharing the excepted-noun case. The two words together paint the kind of child meant.
