Arabic vocabulary
How to say “from those whom” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
مَا أَحَدُ مِمَّنِ رَوَيْتُ عَنْهُ هُوَ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ جَمِيعِ أَهْلِ زَمَانُنَا،
There is no one among those I narrated from who is better than all the people of our time.
مِمَّنِ — from those whom. A fused unit of a preposition 'from / of' plus a relative 'whom', meaning 'from among those whom'. It opens a sub-phrase narrowing the 'no one' to the set the speaker narrated from, linking the negation to a described group.
