Arabic vocabulary
How to say “our time” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
مَا أَحَدُ مِمَّنِ رَوَيْتُ عَنْهُ هُوَ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ جَمِيعِ أَهْلِ زَمَانُنَا،
There is no one among those I narrated from who is better than all the people of our time.
زَمَانِنَا — our time. A noun ending in -na 'our', so it fuses 'time' with the speaker's group as owner. It closes the chain as 'our time', sitting in the genitive owned-by slot, and the -na makes the whole phrase 'all the people of our time'.
