  Go to Abraham, so they go to him and say: "O Abraham, you are the Prophet of Allah and His intimate friend from the people of the earth. Intercede for us with your Lord. Do you not see the state we are in?"

  اِذْهَبُوا — you go. This is a command aimed at a group, not one person: the plural '-u' ending built into the verb already names the addressees as 'you all', so Arabic needs no separate pronoun the way English would. It launches the whole scene by sending the crowd off toward someone.
