How to say “harvest” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَسَقَطَ فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ عِنْدَ الْحَصَادِ لَمَّا عَايَنُوا غَلَّةَ مَا بَذَرُوهُ
And it fell into their hands at the harvest, when they saw the yield of what they had sown.
الْحَصَادِ — the harvest. A definite noun in the genitive because the preceding time-word governs it. It names the harvest as the occasion of the reckoning, the moment the sown deeds came due. With 'the', it points to that decisive season as a known, expected event.
