جَهَنَّمَ — Hell. A proper name of the non-bending kind: it refuses the usual tanwin and takes a plain '-a' even though the 'of' pairing would normally call for '-i'. That bare ending is itself the clue that this is a name that does not fully decline. It is the owner in 'torment of Hell'.
