How to say “incant” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
فأخبروه فقال هم الذين لا يرقون ، ولا يسترقون ولا يتطيرون، وعلى ربهم يتوكلون
They informed him, and he said: 'They are those who do not perform ruqyah on others, do not ask for ruqyah to be done for them, do not believe in omens, and they rely upon their Lord.'
يَرْقُونَ — seek incantations. A present verb 'recite healing-charms [over others]', sound masculine plural ('-una' = 'they'). Negated, it marks a trait of pure reliance on God: they do not resort to such charms.

They informed him, and he said: 'They are those who do not perform ruqyah on others, do not ask for ruqyah to be done for them, do not believe in omens, and they rely upon their Lord.'
يَسْتَرْقُونَ — ask others for incantations. A Form X verb 'ask to have a healing-charm done [for oneself]', sound masculine plural. The Form X pattern carries a 'seek/ask-for' sense — so this is requesting such charms, which they avoid.
