فأخبروه فقال هم الذين لا يرقون ، ولا يسترقون ولا يتطيرون، وعلى ربهم يتوكلون
They informed him, and he said: 'They are those who do not perform ruqyah on others, do not ask for ruqyah to be done for them, do not believe in omens, and they rely upon their Lord.'
يَتَطَيَّرُونَ — take omens. A Form V verb 'read bad omens [into things]', sound masculine plural. The Form V pattern often means doing something to/for oneself — here indulging in superstition, which they shun.
