Arabic vocabulary
How to say “intercession will be granted” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ اِرْفَعْ مُحَمَّدُ، قُلْ يُسْمَعُ، وَسَلْ تُعْطَى، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعُ،
Then it will be said: Raise Muhammad. Say: He is heard. And ask, and you will be given. And intercede, and intercession will be granted.
تُشَفَّعُ — intercession will be granted. A passive verb directed at the listener: intercession 'will be granted' to you, with no agent named, so the weight falls on the assurance rather than the granter. It is the promised response to the command before it, the same guarantee pattern as the others.
