وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْكَذِبَ
And beware of lying.
وَالْكَذِبَ — and the lying. The 'and' is a prefix on a definite noun 'the lying', which is held in the object case as the thing one is warned against. In this 'beware... and X' construction the second noun names the danger, marked as an object by its final -a.

And a man continues to lie and to seek falsehood until he is recorded with God as a liar.
الْكَذِبَ — the falsehood. A definite noun 'the falsehood' as the direct object of 'seeks', in the object case marked by a final -a. The case ending marks it as the target of the seeking.
