وَصَدَقَ وَاللهِ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، وَأَمَّا الْحَدِيثُ فَمَا فِيهِ حَصْرُ الْكَبَائِرِ
And by Allah, Ibn Abbas was correct. As for the Hadith, it does not limit the major sins.
حَصْرُ — limit. A noun, 'a limiting/enumeration', the head of an 'X of Y' chain, 'a limiting of the major sins', and the thing whose presence is denied. It owns the noun that follows.
