Arabic vocabulary
How to say “love” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ورسول الله يحب معك العافية
So the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) said: And the Messenger of God loves well-being with you.
يُحِبُّ — he loves. A present-tense verb with the subject 'He' inside its form, describing an ongoing or habitual liking. The doubled middle consonant belongs to this verb's pattern; no separate pronoun is needed because the ending already names the doer.
