النَّاصِرُ — the helper. An active participle made definite by al-, 'the helper', serving as the predicate: 'He is the Helper'. The al- restricts it, asserting that God alone holds that role; a participle here names an ongoing doer-quality used as a title.
From: Preparing for Judgment Day →وهو الناصر فإن العبد إذا وقع في شدة فإما أن يدفعها بقوته أو قوة من ينصره وكلاهما معدوم في حقه
He is the helper, for when the servant falls into distress, he may either repel it with his own strength or with the strength of someone who helps him; both of these are absent in his case.
النَّاصِرُ — the helper. This is an active participle, 'the one who helps', functioning as a noun and made definite with 'the'. As the predicate of a verbless 'he is the helper' sentence, it equates the subject with this role. The participle turns the verb 'to help' into a doer-noun.
