Arabic vocabulary
How to say “occurred” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَلِهَذَا وَقَعَ فِي تَعْرِيبِهِمْ لِهَا خَطَأٌ كَثِيرٌ لَفْظًا وَمَعْنًى
For this reason, their rendering of it into Arabic contained many errors, both in wording and in meaning.
وَقَعَ — it occurred. A past verb 'occurred / happened', with its delayed subject ('many error') coming later. It comes before that subject and so stays singular; the verb sets up that errors arose in their translation.
