Arabic vocabulary
How to say “wording” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَلِهَذَا وَقَعَ فِي تَعْرِيبِهِمْ لِهَا خَطَأٌ كَثِيرٌ لَفْظًا وَمَعْنًى
For this reason, their rendering of it into Arabic contained many errors, both in wording and in meaning.
لَفْظًا — in wording. An accusative noun used adverbially to specify the respect in which the error occurred, 'as to wording'. The accusative -an ending (audible tanween) marks this specifying role; it tells in which aspect the mistakes lay.
