Arabic vocabulary
الْجَنَّة is how you say “Paradise” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
وَمَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إلَى الْجَنَّةِ،
And whoever follows a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make a path to Paradise easy for him through it.
الْجَنَّةِ — Paradise. In the genitive after 'to', 'the Garden', the goal of the smoothed road. Seeking knowledge is thus made a path leading straight to Paradise.
