Arabic vocabulary
How to say “removes” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْقَصْدُ أَنَّ فِي ذِكْرِ هَذَا الرَّفِيقِ مَا يُزِيلُ وَحْشَةَ التَّفَرُّدِ،
And the point is that mentioning this companion removes the feeling of being alone.
يُزِيلُ — removes. A present-tense verb 'it removes', whose 'it' subject is the preceding 'that which'. It heads the describing clause attached to that relative word. The thing removed, the unease, is its object next.
