الْحَالَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ أَنْ تَكُونَ الْقُوَّةُ وَالْغَلَبَةُ لِدَاعِيِ الْهَوَى
The second case is that power and dominance are with the instigator of desire.
الثَّانِيَةُ — the second. This is the feminine ordinal 'second', describing the 'case' before it. It agrees with that noun in gender, definiteness, and case, so the two lock together as 'the second case', the ordinal narrowing which case is meant.
