At most, he might occasionally manage a snatch or grab from him when the servant is caught off guard in an unavoidable moment of heedlessness;
بِخَطْفَةٍ — with a snatch. 'Bi-' (with) fused to an indefinite 'a snatch' (tanwin), genitive — the means and content of his gain. The single-instance noun shape names one quick grab.
