How to say “surely He” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
فإنه ارتباط من وجوه عديدة ويلزم من إمكان أحدهما إمكان الآخر
For it is a connection in many aspects, and the possibility of one necessitates the possibility of the other.
فَإِنَّهُ — for it is. This bundles the reasoning connector fa-, the emphasis particle 'indeed', and an attached pronoun that is the subject of the emphasized clause. The emphasis particle pushes that subject pronoun into the accusative and stresses the statement as a firm fact.
From: Ten Proofs of Resurrection →قَالَ أَنْ تَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ كَأَنَّك تَرَاهُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ تَرَاهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَرَاك
He said: 'It is to worship Allah as if you see Him, for if you do not see Him, He surely sees you.'
فَإِنَّهُ — He surely. A result-marking fa- joined to an emphatic 'indeed'-particle that itself carries an attached '-He'. The fa- delivers the payoff of the condition, 'then surely', and the emphatic particle braces the coming statement, taking the attached pronoun as its accusative subject. The result is the firm assurance that follows.
From: When Gabriel Came to Teach →قَالَ فَإِنَّهُ جِبْرِيلُ أَتَاكُمْ يُعَلِّمُكُمْ دِينَكُمْ
He said, 'Indeed, it was Gabriel who came to teach you your religion.'
فَإِنَّهُ — indeed, it was. A result-marking fa- joined to an emphatic 'indeed'-particle that carries an attached '-he/it'. The fa- delivers the upshot of the scene, 'so indeed', and the emphatic particle braces the revelation, taking the attached pronoun as its accusative subject. Together they introduce the firm disclosure of who the visitor was.
