ثم ذكر سبحانه المقسم عليه فقال ﴿إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ﴾
Then Allah mentioned what He swore upon, saying: 'Indeed, it is the word of a noble Messenger.'
الْمَقْسِمَ — what He swore upon. A definite noun, 'the thing sworn upon', the subject of an oath, standing as the object of 'mentioned'. Its object ending marks it as what receives the verb's action; the word names the focus of the divine oath under discussion.
