  And He informed that with patience and piety the plotting of the enemy does not harm, even if he were granted authority.

  الصَّبْرِ — the patience. Made definite by al- and pulled into the genitive by the 'with' preposition before it. The al- marks patience as the known virtue in view; the case is the preposition's doing.
