How to say “to send as a gift” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَيَقُولُ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُهْدِيَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَدِيَّةً،
So he says, "Whoever wishes to send a gift to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,"
يُهْدِيَ — to send as a gift. A verb of giving-as-a-gift sitting in the goal-form because the 'to' particle before it governs it; that ending marks the sending as the intended aim. Its 'he' subject is the same 'whoever' from the rule's head.
