الدُّنْيَا — the world. Genitive owner of 'din' — 'the world, this lower life'. Its long final vowel never shifts for case, so its genitive role shows by position, not an ending.
From: Turning Daily Words into Worship →من لَاحَ لَهُ حَال الْآخِرَة هان عَلَيْهِ فِرَاق الدُّنْيَا
He who contemplates the hereafter, the separation from the world becomes easy for him.
الدُّنْيَا — from the world. 'The world / this life', the owner completing 'parting from the world', genitive (a weak-ending noun, unmarked). Leaving this life behind.
