قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى ﴿قُلْ إِنْ كَانَ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ وَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ
Allah the Exalted said: Say, if your fathers, your sons, your brothers, and your wives
وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ — and your sons. The wa- links the next item to the list, and the same -kum tail, 'your', attaches as possessor to this plural noun. It extends the catalogue of beloved relations, with ownership fused onto the noun exactly as in the previous word.
