How to say “added” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فلا يجمعُ بين صلاتينِ مفروضتينِ بتيممٍ واحدٍ، ويجوز أن يُضمَّ إلى الفريضةِ نوافلُ معها
Two obligatory prayers cannot be combined with a single dry ablution, but it is permissible to add optional prayers to it.
يُضَمَّ — to be added. A passive verb, 'be added,' in the subjunctive (the -a) after 'an,' doer unnamed. Its subject, 'optional prayers,' comes later; one may attach optional prayers to the obligatory one on the same tayammum.
