Arabic vocabulary
How to say “come” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فأنطلق، فأتي تحت العرش، فأقع ساجداً لربي، ثم يفتح الله علي من محامده،
So I set out, I come beneath the Throne and fall prostrate before my Lord; then God opens to me some of His praiseworthy attributes.
فأتي — so I come. Again 'fa-' chains this onto the previous action, and the first-person present verb folds in the 'I' subject, giving 'so I come'. The sequencing prefix orders the steps of the vision.
