It is reported in the narration that Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, heard Al-Hasan speak,
رَضِيَ — be pleased. This past-tense verb opens the honorific 'may He be pleased', with the divine name as its subject following. It begins the set blessing said after a Companion's name, phrased as a plain past-form invocation.

As Abu Bakr al-Siddiq said when he assumed responsibility over the Muslims and addressed them,
