  Likewise, if one denies the Torah, the Gospel, or the revealed books of Allah, or disbelieves in them, or insults them, or disparages them, he is a disbeliever.

  وَالإِنْجِيلَ — and the Gospel. An 'and' joining a second scripture-name with al- ('the'), added as another object of the same 'denied'. The 'and' coordinates the two texts under one verb, and the noun shares its accusative as a co-object. It piles a second sacred book onto the first.
