  And You alone we ask for help. He said: This verse divides, between Me and My servant, into two parts; to My servant belongs what he asked. So when he says "Guide us to the Straight Path" until the end of the surah, He said: These belong to My servant, and to My servant belongs what he asked.

  اهْدِنَا — Guide us. This is a command-form verb, an imperative addressed to God in the recited supplication, with an attached '-us' object on its end. The imperative shape carries the petition inside the verb, and the suffix names the speakers as those to be guided, so the one word means 'guide us'.
