نِصْفَيْنِ — two halves. This is the dual, a dedicated form for 'exactly two' that English lacks. Where English needs the extra word 'two', Arabic folds 'two halves' into the ending of the noun itself, so the count is carried by the word's shape. It states that the verse is split into precisely two parts.
