Arabic vocabulary
How to say “mentioned” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَإِن حفظته مَعَ إصْلَاح الْوَقْتَيْنِ اللَّذين قبله وَبعده بِمَا ذكرت نجوت وفزت بالراحة واللذة وَالنَّعِيم
And if you preserve it, along with correcting the periods before and after as I mentioned, you succeed and attain comfort, pleasure, and bliss.
ذَكَرْتُ — I mentioned. The '-tu' ending is the speaker 'I', not 'you', so this is 'that which I mentioned'. The bare past verb with the relative refers back to the method the author has already laid out.
