Your life is your present time between what has passed and what is to come.
So what has passed can be corrected by repentance, remorse, and seeking forgiveness.
And this is something that does not burden you with effort, nor toil, nor hardship.
It is not strenuous work; rather, it is the work of the heart.
And you refrain in the future from sins.
And your refraining is simply letting go, which is relief.
It is not an action of the limbs that causes you hardship in its endeavor.
Rather, it is firm resolve and intention that brings ease to your body, heart, and mind.
So what has passed, you correct through repentance.
And what is to come, you correct through refraining, resolve, and intention.
And for the limbs, there is no toil or hardship in these two tasks.
But the matter is in your life, which is your present time between the two periods.
If you waste it, you waste your happiness and salvation.
And if you preserve it, along with correcting the periods before and after as I mentioned, you succeed and attain comfort, pleasure, and bliss.
