How to say “refer it” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا﴾ النساء ٥٩ سورة النساء آية ٥٩
Refer the matter to Allah and the Messenger if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and best in final interpretation. Chapter The Women, verse 59.
فَرُدُّوهُ — then refer it. Three pieces in one word: a fa- meaning 'then' that resumes the command after the condition, a plural command 'refer (you all)', and the attached -hu (it) as its object. The -hu points back to the disputed matter.
